Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH); out-of-state licenses are welcomed
- Experience or training working with students from kindergarten through high school
- Strong knowledge of current best practices for instructing deaf and hard of hearing learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel between sites within the district (all locations are just minutes apart)
- Proficient with technology and adaptable to various instructional settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative DHH support to a caseload of five K–12 students
- Deliver tailored instruction and develop individualized strategies to ensure student success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, participating in IEP meetings as needed
- Serve as an advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the district
