Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Dublin, OH
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support elementary students. This role is part-time, providing direct instruction and support to 5th-grade students with hearing impairments at an onsite school in Dublin, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for designated caseload.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress.
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Educator License with a Hearing Impaired endorsement is required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to deliver instruction in a manner accessible to students with hearing loss.
- Commitment to providing inclusive and supportive educational environments.
Position Details: Location: Dublin, OH (onsite) Contract Length: Full Semester Start Date: ASAP - May 22, 2026 Schedule: Part-time, approximately 80 minutes per month
