Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Fort Benning, GA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Educator Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Demonstrated experience teaching students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Comfort and adaptability working across multiple school sites
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to maintain daily logs and complete required documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborating with general and special education staff to modify curriculum and support inclusion
- Maintaining accurate daily service logs according to district requirements
- Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction as needed
- Facilitating communication and advocacy among students, staff, and families
- Participating in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development
