This role focuses on supporting young learners from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade within a dedicated educational setting in Fort Worth, TX. The position is contract-based, with part-time to full-time hours ranging from 21 to 35 per week across at least three days, providing a flexible yet impactful teaching schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
  • Interpret audiograms to assess student needs and progress.
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to collaborate on individualized educational plans.
  • Manage a caseload of students from PreK to 6th grade, tailoring instructional strategies to support diverse learning requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teaching License issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
  • Experience teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a school-based environment, preferably within Texas.
  • Strong knowledge of specialized instructional methods and ability to effectively communicate with students and educational teams.
  • Commitment to working on-site in Fort Worth, as remote or VOCO (Virtual Contracting) arrangements are not available for this role.

Location and Schedule: This position requires on-site presence within the Fort Worth area and supports one campus focused on early childhood and elementary education. The contract extends immediately upon hire through May 21, 2026, emphasizing continuity and dedicated student support.
