You’ll work on-site in a collaborative environment, providing direct instruction, conducting evaluations, interpreting audiograms, and attending ARD meetings. With a manageable caseload and a set schedule of 21–35 hours per week (minimum of 3 days), you’ll have the support needed to make a real difference in students’ educational journeys throughout the academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas DHH Teaching License (TEA)
- Experience interpreting audiograms and conducting student assessments
- Prior Texas school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive education practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction for PreK through 6th-grade students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Manage and support a designated caseload across a single campus (RDSPD)
- Conduct educational evaluations and interpret audiograms for students
- Participate actively in ARD meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with families and staff
