Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in Franklin, TN
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2026–2027 school year in Franklin, TN. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to K–12 students while traveling between multiple school sites.
This itinerant position provides the opportunity to work across various educational settings and collaborate with school teams to support students' communication, academic, and educational needs.

$35–55/hour depending on experience, licensure, and district budget
Qualifications:
Valid Tennessee DHH/Deaf Education teaching license or appropriate endorsement required
Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Ability to provide services across multiple school sites
Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support aligned with student IEP goals
Support K–12 students across multiple school sites
Travel between assigned schools to provide itinerant services
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, general education staff, and special education teams
Support students' communication, academic, social-emotional, and educational development
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Adapt instruction and services to meet individual student needs across various educational settings
