Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Kernersville, NC

Key Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Professional Educator License in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or eligibility for NC licensure via reciprocity
- Experience supporting PreK–12 students with hearing differences
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery and IEP processes preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working exclusively on-site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional services aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Work closely with teachers, related service professionals, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Lead assessments, contribute to IEP development, and monitor student outcomes
- Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with all state, district, and federal guidelines
- Take an active role in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Promote academic achievement, communication, and social growth for all students served
Assignment Details:
- School year: August 17, 2026 – June 4, 2027
- Part-time schedule: 29 hours per week
- Caseload spans PreK–12
- Utilization of ECATS and Infinite Campus for reporting and case management
