Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) - Lexington, North Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current North Carolina Professional Educator License in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or eligibility to obtain NC licensure via reciprocity
- Background working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Experience delivering services to students across PreK–12 who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to work on-site; remote work is not available for this position
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct specialized instruction in alignment with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers, special education teams, related providers, administration, and families
- Complete assessments and participate actively in the development and monitoring of IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary discussions
- Foster students’ academic growth, communication skills, and social-emotional development within the school setting
- Utilize educational tools such as ECATS and Infinite Campus as part of your daily workflow
