Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Live Oak, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education required
- Previous experience working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, including students with cochlear implants
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and a multi-site service delivery model
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Ability to travel throughout the county on a regular basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, on-site instruction and support to students across multiple schools within the county
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
- Consult with general education staff, parents, and service providers to maximize student success
- Deliver capacity-building support to each site’s staff in best practices for deaf/hard of hearing education
