Qualifications:
- Valid Standard Professional Certificate
- Completed Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12) Endorsement
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students
- Strong knowledge of accessibility tools and educational strategies for sensory impairments
- Comfort teaching onsite; candidates interested in virtual instruction may be considered
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with hearing loss
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student inclusion
- Adapt curriculum and instructional methods for diverse learning needs
- Support students’ language, communication, and social-emotional development
