Qualifications:

  • Valid Standard Professional Certificate
  • Completed Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12) Endorsement
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Demonstrated experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility tools and educational strategies for sensory impairments
  • Comfort teaching onsite; candidates interested in virtual instruction may be considered
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with hearing loss
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student inclusion
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional methods for diverse learning needs
  • Support students’ language, communication, and social-emotional development
  • Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress
