Key Qualifications:
- Valid Standard Professional Teaching Certificate is required.
- Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12) Endorsement completed.
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Proven background working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a K-12 educational setting.
- Ability to develop individualized lessons and employ adaptive teaching techniques.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working collaboratively with fellow educators, specialists, and families.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials as needed to ensure accessibility.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEPs.
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and needs.
