Teacher of the Deaf in Moundsville, WV

Key Qualifications:

- Experience providing instructional and support services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and support teams
- Familiarity with the latest instructional strategies and assistive technology for deaf and hard of hearing students
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide 2.5 hours per week of specialized, direct instruction tailored to individual student goals
- Dedicate 2.5 hours weekly to planning, documentation, and collaboration with educational teams
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and families regarding best practices and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
