Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Washington State teaching license required
- Endorsement or certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education
- Prior experience working with students who are deaf/hard of hearing in K-12 settings preferred
- Familiarity with current instructional strategies and assistive technologies
- Strong advocacy, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing loss, adapting curriculum as needed
- Consult with general and special education staff to ensure student needs are met
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
