What We're Looking For:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (DHH)
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other methods of communication
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for advocating for students with hearing differences
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, both individually and in group settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that align with student needs and goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote accessibility and success
- Monitor and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Create a welcoming and culturally responsive classroom atmosphere
