What We're Looking For:
- Valid state teaching license and/or endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education

- Strong knowledge of language acquisition, educational strategies, and assistive technologies for students with hearing differences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support collaboration with staff, families, and the community
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments
- Ability to provide in-person instruction (district is only seeking onsite professionals at this time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate development of communication skills—spoken, signed, or both—based on student needs
- Support general education staff in implementing accommodations and modifications
- Monitor and document student progress, participating in IEP meetings
- Engage families and collaborate with related service providers
