Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Republic, MO

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students (state-specific credentials as required)

- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to high school students with hearing differences
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to ensure effective modifications and accommodations
- Facilitate communication through sign language or other accessible methods as required
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed
