This opportunity is designed for an experienced educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, serving K-12 age groups within a school setting located in Rancho Cordova, CA. This contract position begins ASAP and extends through the end of the current school year, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with support staff, families, and other educators to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching License in California.
  • Proven experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across K-12 levels.
