Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a vibrant educational community near San Francisco, CA. This full-time role runs from August 11, 2026 to June 2, 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple campuses. As an itinerant DHH Teacher, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster accessibility and student success throughout the district. This position is consultative in nature, serving students from early childhood through transition.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid DHH teaching credential and CTC
  • Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Strong consultative and communication skills
  • Ability to serve a districtwide, itinerant caseload across EC-Transition levels
  • Flexibility and organizational skills to support multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative support for students with hearing impairments
  • Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to ensure IEP implementation
  • Support classroom adaptations, access to curriculum, and communication needs
  • Facilitate professional development for school teams regarding DHH best practices
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies
