Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Department of Education certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing instruction
- Previous experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
- Strong skills in differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum
- Proficiency collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to supporting inclusive education and student advocacy
- Flexibility to serve varying caseloads and potentially multiple school sites
- Completion of required fingerprinting as part of credentialing process
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for DHH students
- Deliver direct instruction and support using best practices for students with hearing differences
- Consult with educators and support staff to ensure accessibility in the classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to optimize learning outcomes
