Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in MA

A temporary teaching opportunity is available working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through telehealth services. This role involves providing specialized educational support to three students in a consultative capacity.

Location: Adams, MA
Position Type: Part-time Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing via telehealth platforms
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain regular communication with families and school staff regarding student development
• Provide consultative services for a caseload of three students

Qualifications:

• Certified Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Experience with telehealth instructional methods preferred
• Strong understanding of the educational needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a consultative role

This part-time contract position allows for professional engagement in a flexible environment supporting students’ unique learning needs. Additional details regarding the assignment will be provided.
