Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Massachusetts
This role involves providing specialized support and instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing through telehealth services. The position is contract-based with a focus on delivering high-quality educational assistance remotely, ensuring students receive tailored communication and learning support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech, language, and auditory support to students with hearing loss via telehealth platforms.
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional methods as needed.
- Collaborating with families to provide guidance and strategies for support at home.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records in compliance with educational standards.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or licensure in teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Experience with telehealth service delivery, particularly in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of auditory-verbal therapy and communication modalities.
- Ability to engage and motivate students remotely through effective use of technology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Services will be provided remotely with a base location in Cambridge, MA.
