A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing skilled in telehealth services, supporting a high school student enrolled in an Early College Program. This role requires providing remote instructional support with a commitment of 30 minutes to 1 hour weekly on Tuesdays. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 26, 2027.
Location: Capiz, KY
Contract Duration: ASAP – May 26, 2027
Work Hours: 30 minutes to 1 hour per week on Tuesdays
Setting: Remote telehealth support for a high school student
Caseload: One student in the Early College Program
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to a student who is Deaf/Hard of Hearing via telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with remote supervisors and comply with district protocols
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain proper documentation and communication with involved parties to ensure compliance and effectiveness
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Valid Teacher of the Deaf License or equivalent certification
- Proven experience providing services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, preferably in telehealth settings
- Ability to work remotely and use telecommunication tools effectively
- Strong understanding of educational and technological accommodations for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students

- Remote panel-style interviews are available upon notice, with decisions made within 24 hours
