Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Kentucky

This contract position involves providing specialized telehealth instruction as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to a high school student enrolled in an Early College Program. The role requires approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour of virtual instruction per week, scheduled on Tuesdays. The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible and continue through May 26, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telehealth instruction tailored to the needs of a Deaf/Hard of Hearing high school student
- Collaborate remotely with district personnel to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions and communicate updates as needed
- Adhere to district policies and guidelines for telepractice service delivery
Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher of the Deaf License
- Experience providing instruction to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, preferably via telehealth
- Ability to engage effectively in virtual learning environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a remote caseload
Location: Gracey, KY (remote instruction)
Additional Information:
- Panel-style remote interview available with advance notice
- Offer decisions can be made within 24 hours of interview
- Contract must be signed prior to start date; district onboarding includes fingerprint clearance
- Supervision will be provided by the school district
