Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | South Carolina

A contract role is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services, located in Mount Pleasant, SC. This position focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and effective communication within the educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct telehealth instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations.
• Utilizing technology effectively to engage students and monitor progress remotely.
• Conducting assessments and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations.
