DHH Teacher | Hayward, California

You’ll be working onsite for 37.5 hours per week, providing in-person services across multiple school sites as an itinerant instructor. Key Qualifications:
- Active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification or licensure in California (required)
- Demonstrated experience supporting DHH students, preferably within California schools
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Skilled at adapting teaching approaches for diverse student needs
- Previous itinerant or multi-site experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in various school settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education teams, and families
- Advocate for DHH students’ access to curriculum and extracurricular activities
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
- Maintain thorough progress documentation and adapt strategies based on student growth
