Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Fremont, California

This full-time position features a consistent 37.5-hour work week, with you stepping into an itinerant model. You’ll collaborate with school teams and families to deliver tailored educational strategies that foster communication, academic growth, and social development for students.
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
- A valid and active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching certification or license in California
- Prior professional background working with DHH students, preferably in California schools
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage caseloads and multiple school site responsibilities efficiently
- Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility and an enthusiastic approach to adapting to diverse educational environments
- Commitment to in-person instruction (remote/virtual not available for this opening)
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct instructional and consultative support to students and staff
- Collaborating with school teams across different campuses to ensure comprehensive support
- Advocating for accessibility and effective learning experiences for all DHH students
