Qualifications:
- Active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching certification/license in California (required)
- Previous experience supporting students as a DHH teacher, preferably in California schools
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses
- Strong organization, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and collaborate on IEPs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person DHH services following individualized education plans
- Offer consultative support to school staff and families across various campuses
- Employ effective teaching strategies and accommodations to promote language and academic development
- Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring for students
- Ensure clear documentation and communication as you travel itinerantly between sites
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
