The position supports a caseload of approximately 20 to 30 students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, including students aged 18 to 22.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Utilizing telehealth methodologies to ensure effective virtual educational services.
- Managing caseloads with individualized education plans and progress monitoring.
- Collaborating with families, support staff, and other stakeholders to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting according to program guidelines.
Qualifications sought:
- Valid credential for teaching Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, covering grades K–12.
- Experience with telehealth or virtual teaching platforms preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students across multiple grade levels.
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and professional colleagues.
- Adaptability to a fully virtual instructional environment.
