Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or licensure to teach students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Demonstrated experience supporting elementary-aged children with hearing differences
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, classroom accommodations, and relevant assistive technology
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with school staff, families, and other service providers
- Commitment to in-person instruction and a willingness to adapt to the unique needs of individual students
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted, in-person instruction to a 3rd grade student, fostering access to the general curriculum
- Collaborate with teachers and staff for coordination of services and integration of accommodations
- Monitor progress, update educational plans, and maintain essential documentation as required for compliance
