Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Opportunity - Nashville, TN
We are seeking a qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for full-time, on-site positions in the Clarksville, Tennessee area for the 2026–2027 school year.
These school-based opportunities offer the chance to support students across a variety of grade levels in a collaborative and well-structured educational setting.
Assignment Details
Location: Clarksville, Tennessee area
Start Date: August 3, 2026
End Date: May 28, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Setting: On-site only
Caseload: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities
Provide direct and consultative support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Recommend and support classroom accommodations and services
Qualifications
Active Tennessee Department of Education certification
Endorsement as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Experience in school-based settings preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
