State Requirements – Florida
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field
Valid Florida teaching certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
Experience working with hearing-impaired students preferred
Typical Job Duties
Provide direct services to students with hearing impairments
Modify and adapt instructional materials
Collaborate with teachers and families
Assist with assistive technology and communication supports
Track and report student progress
