Teletherapy Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
ProCare Therapy and VocoVision are hiring a Virtual DHH Teacher for a fully remote California school-based position.
Position Responsibilities
Deliver individualized online instruction for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet student needs.
Strengthen communication, language, literacy, and academic success.
Conduct educational evaluations and progress monitoring.
Write, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams.
Maintain compliant documentation and student records.
Provide support using assistive technology and online learning tools.
Educate families and staff regarding hearing loss and communication access.
Advocate for student success across virtual learning environments.
Qualifications
Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related discipline.
Active California DHH certification.
Two or more years of experience with school-aged Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP compliance.
Comfortable with virtual learning platforms.
ASL proficiency preferred.
