- All credentials and endorsements necessary for Deaf/Hard of Hearing education in Alabama
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, evidence-based instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing based on individualized education plans
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive practices and the integration of specialized strategies
- Assess student progress, adjust instructional strategies, and document results to continuously foster student growth
- Advocate for student needs, ensuring all accommodations and modifications are implemented effectively
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams while contributing expertise to multidisciplinary planning
