Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher
- Previous experience serving K-12th grade students preferred
- Knowledge of strategies and assistive technologies for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Ability to work efficiently across multiple sites (travel required; mileage reimbursed)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to K-12 students with hearing differences
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and support teams
- Travel between two assigned locations to provide services (itinerant position)
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies for student growth
