Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse student populations

- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assistive listening devices and adaptive educational technology
- Adaptability and a solution-oriented approach when meeting student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Assess students’ strengths and needs to develop appropriate learning goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers for effective inclusion
- Support students’ language, communication, and self-advocacy development
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on strategies for deaf/hard of hearing students
