Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Bryan, TX

Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Previous experience working with school-aged students in DHH settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school teams
- Flexibility and organizational skills to adapt to varied caseloads and locations
- Willingness to travel between school sites as part of an itinerant team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, based on each student's IEP and communication needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support successful inclusion and access
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding DHH needs, assistive technology, and strategies
- Maintain accurate data and documentation for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
