What we’re looking for:
- Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience delivering direct and consultative services in educational settings
- Effective strategies for communication and instruction with DHH students
- Flexibility to travel between assigned sites (Itinerant role)
- Adaptability for both part-time and full-time assignment preferences
Your core responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction per student IEPs
- Consult with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents to optimize learning environments and support inclusion
- Assess student progress, completing progress reports and documentation as required
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of DHH students
- Deliver both direct and indirect services across a variety of school settings
