This is a full-time role extending from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027, requiring commitment for 37.5 hours weekly. Both virtual and onsite service delivery options are offered, providing flexibility and the opportunity to engage with a diverse community of learners.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Current certification to teach students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Proven experience supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of educational strategies, specialized communication methods, and adaptive technology for DHH learners
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and provide services across multiple campuses
- Comfortable delivering instruction both virtually and in person
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
- Facilitate communication access and full participation in academic and social aspects of school life
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and parents to foster optimal learning
- Conduct assessments, document service delivery, and monitor student progress
- Travel between campuses as needed to ensure consistent and high-quality support
