What We’re Looking For:
- Valid certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience delivering DHH services in school settings
- Proficiency in both in-person and virtual instruction
- Skilled in American Sign Language (ASL) and other instructional communication modes
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across five campuses
- Develop and implement IEPs and individualized learning strategies
- Collaborate with general and special education staff
- Offer guidance and resources to families and staff
- Employ technology to facilitate virtual and onsite instruction
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting services as needed
