Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Hearne, Texas

Candidates should possess:
- 3/4 DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) certification
- Proven experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Flexibility to travel across different campuses as an itinerant educator
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Adaptability to accommodate varying caseloads and schedules as they are released (estimated within two weeks)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ensuring each child's unique needs are addressed
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt materials and teaching strategies for accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication regarding student progress
- Provide consultation and support to staff and families about effective accommodations and resources
