Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
  • Experience developing and managing IEPs
  • Strong background supporting assistive technology for D/HH students
  • Proficiency in progress monitoring and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
  • Familiarity with both TOR (Teacher of Record) and TOS (Teacher of Service) models preferred

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing a caseload of 48 students across 25 educational sites
  • Delivering services that range from monthly or quarterly consultations to more intensive, frequent intervention
  • Developing, implementing, and updating IEPs in compliance with state guidelines
  • Providing instructional support and adaptations tailored to students’ auditory needs
  • Supporting the use of assistive technologies and augmentative communication devices
  • Coordinating with general educators to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Monitoring and reporting student progress to ensure educational goals are met
