Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience delivering consultative and direct services within school settings
- Knowledge of IEP processes, development, and case management for DHH students
- Familiarity with assistive technology to support access and learning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across multiple teams and environments
- Ability to serve students of various ages and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs, ensuring individualized goals and supports are in place
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain detailed documentation
- Provide a blend of direct instruction and consultative services, primarily on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Support staff, students, and families in the use and integration of assistive technology
- Effectively manage a service schedule ranging from monthly consults to intensive weekly sessions for students needing higher levels of support
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers across multiple campuses
