Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Louisiana Department of Education certification, plus an active certification from your current state of residence.
- Proven experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, utilizing technology to provide virtual instruction.
- Strong understanding of adaptive communication strategies (e.g., ASL, spoken English, augmentative devices).
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards in a remote setting.
- Outstanding organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction through virtual means, adapting materials and lessons for online accessibility.
