Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid OH Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification
- Experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of best practices in instruction and accommodations for D/HH students
- Ability to travel between schools as needed within the district
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to work with diverse age groups and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction, accommodations, and support for D/HH students, empowering their access to the curriculum
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Guide staff and educators on strategies and resources for D/HH student success
- Assess progress and modify programming as needed for optimal outcomes
