Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students of varying ages and levels of need
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction for students with hearing loss
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel between different buildings as required by schedule
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across different grade levels and settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with accommodations, modifications, and the use of assistive technology to enhance accessibility
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent communications
