Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification with Hearing Impaired or Deaf Education endorsement
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with children who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in accordance with IEP goals
