This position supports students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple grade levels (K-12) within a school district setting in Tacoma, WA. It involves working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, providing specialized educational support from early childhood through grade 12. Qualifications for this position include a Master’s Level Degree in Education with a focus on Teaching Deaf Students, along with State Teaching Certification in Deaf Education. Experience working with students across a broad age range—from early childhood to high school—is essential to effectively assist in diverse classroom environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple grade bands (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
