With a contract position running from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027, you'll play a critical role in shaping students' educational journeys in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year institution.
- Valid or certifiable Florida teacher certification in Elementary Education and ESE.
- ESOL endorsement required.
- Additional credentials such as a Communications Disorder unit, Autism Endorsement, or relevant certification are advantageous.
- Experience with differentiated instruction in multi-grade classrooms is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with paraprofessionals and other staff.
- Appropriate hours or endorsements in ESOL, Gifted, and Reading, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain valid Florida certification and adhere to all state and school board regulations.
- Prepare, update, and submit accurate records and reports per school and state guidelines.
- Support and implement student learning plans.
- Create and uphold a safe, engaging classroom environment tailored to student needs and interests.
- Plan and deliver effective, differentiated instruction utilizing a variety of methods and resources.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of lesson plans, available for supervisory review.
- Participate in upholding school rules and administrative procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster optimal student outcomes.
