Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida teaching certificate or eligible for certification
- Endorsement in ESOL required; preference given to those with Autism or Communications Disorder credentials
- Experience or ability to differentiate instruction within a multi-grade classroom
- Strong collaboration skills with paraprofessionals and school staff
- Experience with teletherapy platforms highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain appropriate and valid certification throughout the contract term
- Adhere strictly to Florida education statutes and school policies
- Prepare, submit, and maintain comprehensive records and reports
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement and social-emotional growth
- Meet instructional responsibilities punctually and reliably at assigned times—onsite, virtually, or in a hybrid model
- Develop thoughtful lesson plans and provide diverse instructional methods tailored to each student
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to best support each student’s learning plan
- Uphold all aspects of the contractual agreement unless officially released
