Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain documentation related to student caseload and services provided
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience providing instruction or therapy via telehealth platforms
- Strong understanding of the educational and communication needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies in a remote learning environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
